The molding of brass using lost wax casting technique is more known as Dhokra but it is also known as Bharewa in Madhya Pradesh by the name of community practicing the craft from generations in villages of Betul district. The Bharewa community is practicing the craft for ages to make the ceremonial products for Gond tribal community which is one of the largest community in the central India. This craft also places a significant role in upcycling resources. They buy the broken brass utensils from the local shop keepers, beeswax from the forest area and use these as raw material to develop beautiful products.
